This blend has been specifically formulated to support this viral system, especially following any postpartum haemorrhage. Blood and Qi work together and must both be in abundance for balance. The spleen makes Qi from the food we eat and good nutrition is vital for this process to occur.

INGREDIENTS TO ADD

  • 1/2 Butternut Pumpkin

  • 3 x Carrots

  • 2 x Celery sticks

  • 1 can of coconut cream

  • 4 cups of pasta of choice

 

ADD PACKET INGREDIENTS

  • Red Lentils

  • Gou Qi Zi (Chinese Wolf Berry/Goji Berry)*

  • Da Zao (Red Date)^*

  • Shan Yao (Chinese Yam)*

  • Cinnamon*

  • Curry Powder

  • Turmeric^*

  • Stock

  • Salt

  • Pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

Add all ingredients, except pasta, into large pot. Add 6 cups of water and bring to the boil. Simmer on low heat for 1-2 hours. Add can of coconut cream. Blend in food processor or use a stick blender.

Cook pasta separately, strain, then add sauce to pasta and stir through.
